Wizz Air Hungary organized a birthday promotion offering flights for 35 PLN, but the airline cancelled most of the tickets shortly after they were purchased, citing a technical error. The President of UOKiK has accused Wizz Air of violating consumer interests. Additionally, UOKiK is investigating the airline's practice of not refunding fees for the "Flexible Travel Companion" service when flights are cancelled. If found guilty, Wizz Air Hungary could face a fine of up to 10% of its annual turnover.
