The Polish competition authority has conducted inspections on various models of baby strollers and loungers, revealing significant safety issues. Out of 19 models tested, 13 were found to have serious defects that could endanger children.

Among the identified problems were ineffective or incorrect safety straps, faulty fasteners, and unstable locking mechanisms. These construction flaws raise concerns about the overall safety of these products.

Additionally, labeling errors were noted, including the absence of manufacturer information, incomplete instructions, and a lack of Polish language versions. Warnings and safety markings were also found to be incorrect or insufficient, further compromising consumer safety.

Jagoda Kruszewska from the communication department of the Polish competition authority emphasized the importance of ensuring child safety in product design and marketing.
