The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) has assessed the investment plans of several system operators, highlighting a lack of clarity in the plans of Enexis, Liander, Stedin, and TenneT. To address this, the ACM has initiated an improvement process requiring these operators to develop clear improvement plans with concrete milestones by September 1, 2024, focusing on enhancing verifiability of prioritization. The ACM will closely monitor the progress of these plans and is also engaging with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy to discuss future procedures for assessing investment plans.
