The Czech competition authority, ÚOHS, has granted approval for a merger that enables Accolade Holding, a.s., and Conseq Funds investiční společnost, a.s., to jointly control the Polish company Knapton spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością.
Accolade Holding is the parent company of a business group involved in the development, management, and leasing of industrial parks used for logistics, e-commerce, and light manufacturing. The group also operates Brno-Tuřany Airport and provides services in air transport, water management, and central heating supply.
Conseq Funds investiční společnost is part of the Conseq group, specializing in the management of investment funds and trading in mutual and pension funds. They also manage industrial parks in the Czech Republic and Poland through their funds.
Knapton owns a logistics building in Poland, which it leases to a third party.
The merger was assessed under a simplified procedure, and ÚOHS concluded that the transaction would not disrupt competition. The authority's decision is final.
