CMA Finds Calor Gas Limited in Breach of LPG Orders

The UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has found that Calor Gas Limited breached the Domestic Bulk LPG Market Investigation Order and the Domestic Bulk LPG Market Investigation (Metered Estates) Order by failing to notify customers of their eligibility to switch suppliers.

The CMA has issued a letter to Calor Gas Limited, stating that the company breached both the Domestic Bulk LPG Market Investigation Order and the Domestic Bulk LPG Market Investigation (Metered Estates) Order. These orders require LPG providers to notify customers in writing about their eligibility to switch suppliers. Calor Gas Limited failed to send letters to 5,923 customers reminding them of their rights. The company has now notified all affected customers.
