The Czech competition authority, ÚOHS, has granted approval for the merger between NÁŠ OBCHOD s.r.o. and KARA Trutnov, a.s. This merger involves NÁŠ OBCHOD acquiring a 100% stake in KARA Trutnov, thereby gaining exclusive control over the company.

NÁŠ OBCHOD operates as a holding company in the retail fashion and e-commerce sector and is part of a larger business group, SPM, which also engages in real estate, technology, media, healthcare, food, accounting, consulting services, and sports.

KARA Trutnov specializes in the retail sale of leather and fur goods, including clothing, accessories, and leather goods, through its own network of physical stores and an online shop. It is recognized as a traditional brand in the leather fashion segment in the Czech market.

The authority assessed the transaction under a simplified procedure and concluded that the merger would not significantly disrupt competition. The decision is now final.
