The Slovenian Competition Authority, known as the Agencija za varstvo konkurence, has made a significant decision regarding the merger of two companies. The authority has granted approval for ALFI, a company specializing in the management of alternative investment funds, to acquire exclusive control over PANORGANIX, a wholesale fruit and vegetable trading company.

This decision indicates that the authority found no grounds for opposition to the merger, concluding that it aligns with the established competition rules in Slovenia. The approval reflects the authority's assessment that the merger will not adversely affect market competition.

The merger is expected to enhance ALFI's market position and operational capabilities in the food distribution sector, while PANORGANIX will benefit from the resources and management expertise of ALFI.
