On September 4, 2025, the Greek competition authority issued decisions 889/2025 and 890/2025, unanimously approving the acquisition of exclusive control by H.I.G. Capital LLC over the company Orpheus Veinoglou International Transport S.A.
The transactions examined include the acquisition of joint control by H.I.G. Capital LLC and Orbit S.A. over Veinoglou, the absorption of the company Strim Global Supply Chain Solutions S.A. by Veinoglou, and the exclusive control acquisition by H.I.G. Capital LLC over Veinoglou.
The concentrations primarily concern the markets of contract logistics services and freight forwarding services. The competition authority concluded that, considering the small combined market shares of the participating companies, the concentrations do not alter competitive conditions and do not raise serious doubts regarding their compatibility with competition requirements in the relevant markets.
