The Czech competition authority, known as ÚOHS, has granted approval for the merger between ČSOB Leasing, a.s. and BUSINESS LEASE s.r.o. This decision was made under a simplified procedure, allowing ČSOB Leasing to acquire exclusive control over BUSINESS LEASE.
ČSOB Leasing is a provider of operational leasing services, fleet management, vehicle financing, and related services. It is part of the KBC group, which operates in banking, insurance, leasing, and other financial services across the Czech Republic and other European countries.
BUSINESS LEASE specializes in operational leasing and comprehensive management of fleets of passenger and light commercial vehicles.
The authority assessed that the merger would not significantly disrupt competition in the relevant markets within the Czech Republic, leading to its approval. The decision is final.
