ACCC Holiday Operation Hours Announced
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has announced its limited operational hours during the Christmas and New Year period.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has released information regarding its operational hours over the upcoming holiday season. The ACCC offices will be closed from 12pm AEDT on Wednesday, December 24, until 9am local time on Friday, January 2, 2026.
During this period, key functions of the ACCC will still operate but at a limited capacity. The Infocentre phone lines will be closed from 3pm AEDT on Tuesday, December 23, and will reopen at 11am AEDT on January 2, 2026. Consumers and small businesses are encouraged to submit reports via the web form during this time.
For journalists with urgent inquiries, a contact number is provided, and the media team will return to the office on January 2, 2026. Additionally, consumers can report unsafe products or search for recalled products on the ACCC Product Safety website.
For any merger-related queries, individuals are advised to email the ACCC directly. Notifications and authorisation applications can also be lodged through the ACCC website, with specific instructions provided for applicants.
All Freedom of Information Act applications will be processed once the ACCC office reopens. The ACCC wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday period.
