On March 10, 2026, the Belgian Competition Authority (BCA) granted approval for the acquisition of joint control of Buen Camino (Baker Tilly Belgium) by Inflexion III and BTN Coöperatief U.A. The acquisition was notified on March 4, 2026, and the parties requested the application of a simplified procedure.
Inflexion III is an investment fund that focuses on minority investments in rapidly growing companies, while BTN Coöperatief U.A. is a cooperative comprised of partners from Baker Tilly Netherlands. Buen Camino, operating as Baker Tilly Belgium, is an accountancy and consultancy firm with eight offices across Belgium, providing services in audit, accounting, consultancy, corporate finance, tax advice, and legal services.
The BCA determined that the conditions for applying the simplified procedure were met, primarily due to the limited market position of the involved parties and the minimal overlap in their activities. Consequently, the concentration raised no objections from the authority.
