The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) has concluded a market analysis highlighting the risks posed by the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the importance of their adoption to avoid falling behind.
The GVH conducted a thorough examination of the development of AI, international regulatory frameworks, and engaged with various stakeholders to understand the impact of AI on market competition and consumer vulnerability.
The analysis revealed that Hungarian businesses, especially SMEs, have low adoption rates of AI due to a lack of knowledge and skilled workforce, which could lead to them lagging behind in competitiveness as larger companies increasingly utilize AI.
