24.01.2025 | Polish competition authority
The Polish competition authority has recently completed an inspection of 26 models of solid fuel heaters, including stoves and fireplaces. This review aimed to ensure that consumers have access to accurate information when selecting heating appliances.
Out of the 26 models examined, 14 were found to have significant compliance issues. The primary concerns included the absence of energy efficiency labels and improperly prepared product cards, or in some cases, the complete lack of such documentation.
These findings highlight the importance of proper labeling and documentation in helping consumers make informed choices about their heating options. The authority emphasizes that consumers should be able to compare models effectively to select safe and suitable products for their needs.
