The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has announced the appointment of four new Non-Executive Directors to its Board, as appointed by the Secretary of State for Business and Trade. The new members are Katie Kapernaros, David Halpern, Michael Mire, and Sir Suma Chakrabarti.

Doug Gurr, Chair of the CMA, expressed his delight in welcoming the new Directors, highlighting their diverse expertise and professional backgrounds. He emphasized the importance of their roles in enhancing the CMA's impact on UK consumers, businesses, and the economy, especially during critical times.
