The Polish competition authority (UOKiK) is inviting young investors and educators to participate in the World Investor Week, a global educational campaign aimed at increasing investor awareness and safety.

On October 10 at 12:00, UOKiK will host a free webinar where Dariusz Łomowski, the Director of UOKiK's Gdańsk branch, will discuss fact-checking and how to differentiate between facts and fakes online.

This year's World Investor Week focuses on topics such as technology and digital finance, artificial intelligence in investment, and combating financial fraud and abuse. The event is organized by IOSCO, the International Organization of Securities Commissions, with coordination in Poland by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (UKNF), and UOKiK is a partner for this edition.
