The Czech competition authority, known as ÚOHS, has granted approval for the merger between PENTA REAL ESTATE HOLDING LIMITED and MAT Corporation a.s. This merger will enable the two companies to jointly control BP Budějovická, s.r.o., BP Olbrachtova, s.r.o., and BP Poláčkova, s.r.o.

The focus of this merger is primarily in the area of leasing non-residential spaces, including office spaces, retail areas, parking lots, and more, within the city of Prague.

PENTA REAL ESTATE HOLDING LIMITED is part of the Penta Investments Group Limited and operates in various sectors including real estate development, healthcare, banking services, and media both in the Czech Republic and abroad.

MAT Corporation leads a business group that specializes in property leasing and management, operating notable centers such as DBK in Prague.

The companies BP Budějovická, BP Olbrachtova, and BP Poláčkova own and manage office buildings located in Prague 4. The authority assessed the transaction through a simplified procedure and concluded that the merger would not significantly disrupt competition. The decision is final.
