The Polish Competition Authority has approved the acquisition of several ContiTech companies by OESL International LLC, confirming that the merger does not raise competition concerns.

The Polish Competition Authority (UOKiK) has issued Decision No DKK-251/2025 on November 4, 2025, granting approval for OESL International LLC, based in Dover, USA, to acquire control over multiple ContiTech entities located in Germany, China, France, Serbia, and Brazil.

The decision follows an antitrust investigation initiated at the request of OESL International LLC. The authority determined that the merger would not significantly impede effective competition in the market.

UOKiK opted not to provide a detailed justification for the decision, as it fully aligned with the requests of the parties involved and did not involve any contentious interests or appeals.

As per Polish law, the decision can be appealed to the District Court in Warsaw within one month of its delivery, with a fixed court fee of 1000 PLN applicable for the appeal.
