The Polish Competition Authority has approved the merger involving Plichta Auto Moto sp. z o.o. acquiring part of the assets of Wojciech Makarewicz without any conditions or disputes.

03.11.2025 | Polish Competition Authority (DKK)

The Polish Competition Authority (DKK) issued Decision No DKK-250/2025 on November 4, 2025, granting approval for the merger between Plichta Auto Moto sp. z o.o. and part of the assets of Wojciech Makarewicz. This decision follows an antitrust investigation initiated at the request of Plichta Auto Moto.

The authority determined that the merger did not raise any competition concerns and therefore did not require any remedies or further investigation. The decision was made without the need for a detailed justification, as it fully aligned with the requests of the parties involved and did not involve any contentious issues.

Parties have the right to appeal this decision to the District Court in Warsaw within one month of its delivery, with a fixed court fee of 1000 PLN applicable for the appeal process.
