Gloria Pitterle has officially joined the Austrian Competition Authority (BWB) as the new Deputy Spokesperson, starting her career there in November 2023. Her role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including preparing documents for the BWB's publication obligations, coordinating and responding to national and international press inquiries, managing the digital media presence, and contributing to event management.

Pitterle holds a specialized education in communication and public relations from St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences. Her bachelor's thesis, which focused on framing in political climate communication, received recognition from the Public Relations Association of Austria, earning the Franz-Bogner Science Award for being the second-best thesis on PR in Austria.

In addition to her role at the BWB, Pitterle is currently pursuing a master's degree in political science at the University of Vienna, further enhancing her expertise in the field.
