The Greek competition authority is actively participating in the EU co-funded project DATACROS III, which focuses on combating corrupt practices in public administration.
As part of this initiative, the authority is inviting local and regional government representatives to join an online training event titled: 'Prevention and Detection – Early Identification of Organized Crime, Corruption, and Fraud: Risk Indicators and Best Practices'. This event is scheduled for November 14, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Greek time).
The training is targeted at municipal and regional authorities, contracting authorities, procurement and compliance services, and other relevant public entities. The goal is to enhance capabilities for the prevention and early detection of corruption incidents and other practices through innovative tools and best practices developed within the project.
The training will cover topics such as risk analysis and the use of open data, best practices in contractor oversight, whistleblowing systems, and innovative prevention tools. The event is organized by the key implementing bodies of the project, and participation is free but requires registration via the provided Eventbrite link.
