MAM Finance Cleared to Acquire Van de Velde Packaging Unipap
The Czech competition authority has approved the merger between MAM Finance and Van de Velde Packaging Unipap, allowing MAM Finance to gain exclusive control over the latter.

The Czech competition authority has granted approval for the merger between MAM Finance a.s. and Van de Velde Packaging Unipap a.s. under a simplified procedure. This merger will enable MAM Finance to exclusively control Van de Velde Packaging, particularly in the production and supply of corrugated cardboard and plastic packaging.
MAM Finance is jointly controlled by VERSUTE INVESTMENTS a.s. and MAM Private Equity Fund SICAV a.s. The group controlled by VERSUTE INVESTMENTS operates in the Czech Republic in areas such as the production and supply of outdoor low-voltage switchgear, research and development services for various industrial sectors, and management of qualified investor funds. Meanwhile, entities controlled by MAM Private Equity Fund SICAV are involved in IT security solutions, telecommunications technology distribution, and management of qualified investor funds.
Van de Velde Packaging Unipap is active in the Czech Republic in the production and supply of corrugated cardboard and plastic packaging. The authority concluded that the merger would not significantly disrupt competition, thus granting its approval. The decision is final.
