The Federal Trade Commission has appointed Levi Swank as the new Deputy Director of its Bureau of Consumer Protection, bringing extensive litigation experience.

Federal Trade Commission Chairman Andrew N. Ferguson has announced the appointment of Levi Swank as the Deputy Director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection.

Levi Swank is recognized for his expertise in consumer protection litigation, having represented clients in various enforcement matters, class actions, and investigations. Before joining the FTC, he had a successful career in private practice at a prominent law firm in Washington, D.C., where he progressed from associate to partner.

Swank earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as an Executive Editor of the Virginia Law Review and graduated with honors as part of the Order of the Coif. He also holds a B.A. in Government from Patrick Henry College. After completing law school, Swank gained valuable experience by clerking for the Hon. Alice M. Batchelder of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
