On October 13, 2026, the Belgian Competition Authority (BCA) approved the acquisition of joint control over Finvision and VGD by Sofindev and Administratiekantoor Poppies via the investment vehicle VGD-F.

The concentration was notified on October 6, 2026, and the parties requested the application of the simplified procedure. Sofindev is an investment firm focused on private equity investments in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Benelux region, while Administratiekantoor Poppies is a private foundation yet to be incorporated.

VGD-F is a private limited liability company under Belgian law that is still to be registered. VGD operates in various fields including accountancy, audit, CFO services, corporate finance, and tax advisory services, while Finvision specializes in accounting, tax advisory, legal services, and temporary staffing of financial professionals.

The BCA found that the conditions for the simplified procedure were met and that the notified concentration did not raise any objections, allowing the acquisition to proceed without further scrutiny.
