On February 9, 2026, the Greek Competition Authority held a session where it unanimously approved the acquisition of exclusive control of 3P Salads SA by Ambrosia Monoprosopi AE, under Article 8(3) of Law 3959/2011.

The merger pertains to the relevant markets for cold sauces and savory spreads across retail and HO.RE.CA. channels, as well as the wholesale food market, particularly supermarket items.

The authority considered the small market shares of the involved companies and their operations primarily in different marketing channels. It concluded that the transaction, while falling under the scope of Article 6(1) of Law 3959/2011, is not expected to affect competition levels or lead to restrictions in the relevant markets.

Therefore, the merger does not raise serious doubts regarding its compatibility with competition requirements in the respective markets.
