The Czech competition authority has officially approved the merger between SENESI, SE and Koupelny JaS, s.r.o., enabling SENESI to gain exclusive control over Koupelny JaS. This decision has already taken legal effect.

SENESI operates primarily in the Czech Republic, focusing on the design and implementation of bathrooms and kitchens, as well as wholesale and retail sales of bathroom and kitchen equipment, tiles, and flooring. The company runs a network of showrooms and stores in major cities including Prague, Brno, Plzeň, České Budějovice, and Vodňany.

Koupelny JaS specializes in wholesale and retail sales of tiles, flooring, and complete bathroom equipment, with physical locations in several regions of the Czech Republic, including Ostrava, Olomouc, Hradec Králové, Prostějov, Šumperk, Valašské Meziříčí, Teplice, and Otrokovice.

The authority assessed the merger through a simplified procedure and concluded that it meets the legal notification criteria and will not significantly disrupt competition in the relevant markets. Therefore, the merger was approved.
