On December 23, 2025, the Board of Directors of the Competition Authority, in exercise of the power conferred upon it by paragraph d) of No. 1 of article 19 of the Statutes, approved by Decree-Law No. 125/2014, of 18 August, resolves to adopt a decision of non-opposition to the concentration operation, under the terms of paragraph b) of No. 1 of article 50 of the Competition Law, since it is not likely to create significant obstacles to effective competition in the national market or in a substantial part thereof.

Portuguese Competition Authority Approves TMICC / IC MSO Merger

On December 23, 2025, the Board of Directors of the Portuguese competition authority, AdC, made a significant decision regarding the merger between TMICC and IC MSO.

 Utilizing the powers granted by the relevant statutes, the authority adopted a non-opposition decision for the concentration operation 90/2025. This decision indicates that the merger is not expected to create significant obstacles to effective competition within the national market or in a substantial part of it.
