The Greek competition authority has issued a unanimous decision approving Circet Europe's acquisition of exclusive control over the Paralos Group, as per Article 8, paragraph 3 of Law 3959/2011.

This merger involves the construction of energy project infrastructures and the installation of systems such as SCADA. Circet Europe operates primarily in telecommunications through its subsidiary, Circet Hellas, with limited presence in Greece.

The relevant geographic market for this merger is defined as the Greek territory. The competition authority concluded that there are no horizontal or vertical market concerns arising from this transaction.

Despite the merger falling under the scope of Article 6, paragraph 1 of Law 3959/2011, it does not raise serious doubts regarding its compatibility with competition requirements in the markets where the involved companies operate.

This announcement serves as an unofficial document for media use and does not bind the competition authority.

The full text of the decision will be published in the Government Gazette and on the competition authority's website.
