The Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, and Icelandic competition authorities have formed a collaboration with the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE), recognized as one of the world's leading institutions in competition economics.
This partnership aims to provide training for staff members at the competition authorities, leveraging the expertise of researchers and academics from TSE. The collaboration will also feature workshops that facilitate discussions on overarching themes in competition policy across the participating countries and academic fields.
Hans Petter H. Hanson, the chief economist at the Norwegian Competition Authority, expressed enthusiasm for engaging with some of the world's top economists, emphasizing the importance of academic contact in their work.
