Simba Sleep has agreed to modify its online sales practices after a CMA investigation revealed potential customer deception and unfair sales tactics.

The CMA's concerns led to Simba Sleep signing formal commitments, including ensuring genuine discount claims and clear use of countdown clocks on its website.

This investigation is part of the CMA's efforts to address harmful online selling practices, with a focus on the 'Online Choice Architecture' in the mattress sector.

The CMA also recently secured refunds for Wowcher customers and published principles for traders in the online mattress industry regarding price reduction claims.
