The Trade Inspection Authority recently examined 19 different models of helmets designed for cycling, skiing, and climbing. All helmets passed tests evaluating their shock absorption and the effectiveness of the retention system.

However, 9 out of the 19 helmets showed deficiencies in terms of labeling or instructions provided to users. Consumers are advised to look for the CE mark when purchasing a helmet, as it indicates compliance with safety standards.

Ensuring that helmets are in good condition and properly fitted is crucial for safeguarding individuals during various activities, emphasizing the importance of head protection for overall safety.
