Cateautje Hijmans van den Bergh, Member of the Board of the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM), has announced her decision to leave the organization on September 1, 2024.

Cateautje Hijmans van den Bergh, a key member of the ACM Board since 2017, is stepping down from her role which included overseeing the Consumer Department, Legal Department, and Corporate Services Department. Her departure will impact the further development of behavioral research, data-driven oversight, and consumer protection initiatives at ACM. The recruitment process for a new board member will begin soon under the leadership of Martijn Snoep, Chairman of the Board.
