The Polish Competition Authority has approved the acquisition of part of Shell Polska's assets by Przedsiębiorstwo Handlowe Kurzepa, with no objections raised during the review process.

The Polish Competition Authority (UOKiK) issued Decision No DKK-231/2026 on October 23, 2026, granting approval for Przedsiębiorstwo Handlowe Kurzepa sp.k. to acquire certain assets of Shell Polska sp. z o.o. located in Warsaw.

This decision follows an antitrust investigation initiated at the request of Kurzepa, and it was determined that the acquisition would not raise any competition concerns. The authority noted that the decision fully aligns with the request made by the parties involved.

As the decision did not involve any contentious issues or disputes between the parties, the UOKiK opted to forego a detailed justification for the ruling. The approval allows Kurzepa to proceed with the acquisition without any imposed conditions or remedies.

Parties dissatisfied with the decision have the right to appeal to the District Court in Warsaw within one month of receiving the decision, subject to a court fee of 1000 PLN.
