The Polish Competition Authority has approved the merger between Clar Holding sp. z o.o. and Degen sp. z o.o., following a routine antitrust review.

26.01.2026 | Polish Competition Authority (DKK)

The Polish Competition Authority (DKK) issued Decision No DKK-20/2026 on January 27, 2026, approving the merger between Clar Holding sp. z o.o. and Degen sp. z o.o., both based in Poznań.

This decision was made under Article 18 in conjunction with Article 13 of the Act on Competition and Consumer Protection. The authority conducted a standard antitrust review initiated by the request of the merging parties.

Notably, the DKK opted not to provide a detailed justification for the decision, as it fully aligned with the requests of the parties involved and did not address any contentious interests or result from an appeal.

Parties have the right to appeal this decision to the District Court in Warsaw within one month of its delivery, with a fixed court fee of 1000 PLN applicable for the appeal.
