The Italian competition authority has published a preliminary report detailing findings from its investigation into the school publishing sector, inviting public comments until September 30, 2025.

The Italian competition authority, known as AGCM, has decided to publish a preliminary report that outlines the results of its ongoing investigation into the school publishing sector, designated as Inquiry IC57.

Stakeholders interested in the findings are encouraged to submit their observations by September 30, 2025. Contributions should be sent in an editable format to the specified email address, with the subject line indicating the inquiry number and the sender's name.

If contributors believe their communications contain confidential information, they must provide both a confidential and a non-confidential version. If confidentiality is not indicated, the received information may be published in full.

The report also includes information regarding the processing of personal data in accordance with Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679, which is attached to the decision to publish the preliminary report.
