The Czech competition authority, ÚOHS, has granted approval for the ownership change of Fyzioterapie s úsměvem a.s. to GPEF V Holding S.à r.l. This transaction will allow GPEF V, part of Genesis Capital, to control Fyzioterapie s úsměvem and its subsidiaries alongside Skokani SE.

GPEF V is a holding company of the Genesis Private Equity Fund V, which exclusively controls several Czech companies, including Slevomat.cz and CK Zanzo. The Genesis funds operate in various sectors, including engineering, retail, and technical services.

Skokani SE's companies are involved in office space leasing and financing development projects in the Czech Republic. Fyzioterapie s úsměvem, established in 2019, operates ten outpatient clinics and 13 satellite locations, providing rehabilitation services in physiotherapy, neurology, and internal medicine.

The ÚOHS concluded that the merger would not significantly disrupt competition, leading to its approval of the transaction.
