The Slovak Competition Authority (PMÚ) has released an evaluation of the public consultation concerning the proposed call-in mechanism for merger notifications. This initiative aims to refine the notification criteria for mergers and acquisitions.
In total, nine respondents participated in the consultation, providing valuable feedback and suggestions. The PMÚ expressed gratitude to all participants for their contributions, which will be taken into account in the further specification of the notification criteria.
The authority plans to incorporate the received inputs into the legislative proposal and any potential guidelines. Additionally, it will consider recommendations from the European Commission and monitor the development of call-in mechanisms in other EU member states.
