The OECD, European Commission, and six competition authorities have initiated a project to combat bid rigging in public procurement. The project involves Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, and Romania, funded by the EU Technical Support Instrument.

The project's goal is to enhance bid rigging prevention and detection, increase compliance with competition law, and encourage better practices in public contracts.

The CCA premises in Zagreb hosted the kick-off event with over 40 participants, including both physical and online attendees. The project is part of the Republic of Croatia's successful completion of the OECD Competition Committee's accession process.
