The Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC) has announced a second public consultation regarding the Agreement on Co-regulation for the age rating of audiovisual programs and content. This initiative is part of the new General Law on Audiovisual Communication, which promotes self-regulation and co-regulation to protect users, particularly minors.

The consultation aims to collect opinions from the sector and civil society following modifications made to the Co-regulation Agreement and the Code of Conduct. This includes updates based on feedback received during the first consultation held on September 25, 2024.

The CNMC encourages all audiovisual service providers, social organizations, and sector entities to participate, especially those who did not engage in previous working groups or the initial consultation. Comments and observations can be submitted through the CNMC's Electronic Headquarters until November 28, 2025.
