The Polish competition authority has recently examined 16 models of camping gas stoves as part of a safety inspection. The investigation aimed to ensure that consumers are aware of the risks associated with the equipment they use while camping.

Out of the 16 models tested, only one was found to have a defect that could increase the risk of fire. However, the majority of the stoves had issues related to labeling and documentation, which could mislead consumers about their safety and usage.

Before embarking on camping trips, the authority advises consumers to carefully select equipment that suits their travel style. Important factors to consider include the power of the device, gas consumption, and compatibility with gas cartridges.
