The Italian Competition Authority has opened an investigation against Vittorio Sgarbi, the Culture Undersecretary, based on a complaint from the Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano. This action is in accordance with Article 6 of Law no. 215 of 2004, which addresses conflicts of interest.

The investigation will examine whether Sgarbi has engaged in unlawful conduct that violates the provisions of Law no. 215/2004, which outlines activities that are deemed incompatible with holding a government position. The focus will be on ensuring that public officials adhere to ethical standards and do not exploit their positions for personal gain.
