The Estonian competition authority has released an overview of the energy markets for June 2025, highlighting average electricity prices and future price forecasts.

The Estonian competition authority has published its energy market overview for June 2025, revealing that the average electricity price in Estonia was €41.35/MWh. In comparison, Latvia and Lithuania had average prices of €43.01/MWh, while Finland's price was significantly lower at €18.58/MWh.

Forecasts for electricity and gas prices indicate that the highest expected prices will occur in the first quarter of 2026, with projected rates of €97.22/MWh for electricity and €36.80/MWh for gas.

The report also includes data from the Baltic-Finnish gas exchange GET Baltic, where the average traded gas price in June was €41.60/MWh according to the Baltic Gas Spot Index (BGSI). Additionally, a price comparison of electricity and gas packages shows that as of August 1, 2025, the most affordable option for electricity was the market package, while the variable price package was the cheapest for gas.
