Greek Competition Authority Joins European Project on Digital Transformation
The Greek Competition Authority is participating in a new European project aimed at enhancing competition law enforcement capabilities through digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

The Greek Competition Authority is involved in an international project titled “Supporting Digital Transformation in Competition Law Enforcement.” This initiative aims to strengthen the capabilities of national competition authorities in the era of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data.
The project is supported by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Competition and is funded by the European Union under the Technical Support Instrument (TSI), managed by the European Commission's Reform and Investment Team.
This significant multilateral collaboration includes 15 EU member states, focusing on enhancing the skills and technical training of competition authorities in using AI tools and data analysis to support investigative processes. It also aims to facilitate the exchange of experience and expertise among participating authorities and monitor technological developments in AI to boost their digital readiness.
The Greek Competition Authority's participation in this initiative is expected to significantly enhance its research capabilities, strengthening its role in an increasingly digital economic environment.
The Authority is pleased to collaborate with competition authorities from Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Belgium, and Slovenia.
This project aligns with the strategic planning of the Greek Competition Authority to improve its technological capacity, promote innovative competition law enforcement tools, and prepare for future challenges.
