On December 4, 2025, the Board of Directors of the Competition Authority, in exercise of the power conferred upon it by paragraph d) of No. 1 of article 19 of the Statutes, approved by Decree-Law No. 125/2014, of 18 August, resolves to adopt a decision of non-opposition to the concentration operation, under the terms of paragraph b) of No. 1 of article 50 of the Competition Law, since it is not likely to create significant obstacles to effective competition in the national market or in a substantial part thereof.

Portuguese Competition Authority Approves MSOF and Potters Merger

On December 4, 2025, the Board of Directors of the Portuguese competition authority, known as AdC, made a significant decision regarding the merger between MSOF and Potters.

 Utilizing its powers under the Competition Law, the authority adopted a non-opposition decision, indicating that the merger is not expected to create significant obstacles to effective competition within the national market or in a substantial part of it.

 This decision reflects the authority's assessment that the concentration operation will not adversely affect market dynamics or consumer choices.



Portuguese Competition Authority Approves MSOF and Potters Merger
