On December 20, during a session, the Hellenic Competition Commission issued Decision No. 868/2024, approving the concentration involving CORE INNOVATIONS acquiring exclusive control over ZENROW LIMITED and its subsidiary, TWENTY FOUR SHOPEN.

CORE INNOVATIONS, a subsidiary of MOTOR OIL (HELLAS) CORINTH REFINERIES S.A., operates in e-commerce services, B2B services, distribution, logistics, and retail grocery sales through convenience stores.

TWENTY FOUR SHOPEN, the target company in this acquisition, operates mini-markets that provide grocery products on a 24-hour basis.

The analysis of the concentration indicates that there is no horizontal overlap in the relevant market of small retail, or if mini-markets within fuel stations are included, the overlap is minimal, affecting only seven areas in the Attica region. The combined market shares are deemed negligible, suggesting no significant change in competitive conditions.

Consequently, the Hellenic Competition Commission unanimously approved the concentration, concluding that it does not raise serious doubts regarding its compatibility with competition requirements in the relevant markets.
