The Greek competition authority has unanimously approved the acquisition of exclusive control of 'AKTOR PARAXORISEIS MONOPROSOPI ANONYMI ETAIREIA' by 'AKTOR EIDIKON ERGON PARAXORISEON SDIT MONOPROSOPI ANONYMI ETAIREIA', part of the AKTOR Group.

This merger pertains to the relevant markets of public works, private projects, SDIT/Concessions, inert materials, metal constructions, and green projects. The affected markets include the broader market of SDIT/Concessions and the sub-market concerning highway projects.

After analyzing the horizontal, vertical, and conglomerate effects of the merger, the authority concluded that, although it falls under the scope of paragraph 1 of article 6 of Law 3959/2011, it does not raise serious doubts regarding its compatibility with competition requirements in the relevant markets.
