The CNMC has reviewed a draft law on preventing alcohol consumption among minors, proposing restrictions on alcohol advertising, sponsorship, and promotion to curb consumption among minors and vulnerable groups.

The CNMC recommends clarifying obligations and funding related to healthcare aspects of the law, as well as enhancing the regulatory framework for audiovisual and telecommunications to align with the new legislation.

The CNMC offers collaboration to evaluate proposed codes of conduct and suggests adjustments to advertising restrictions near places frequented by minors, among other recommendations.
