The final of the XIX Wielkopolska Consumer Knowledge Olympiad, named after Elżbieta Połczyńska, took place at the Marshal's Office in Poznań. Students from secondary schools across 14 counties in the Greater Poland Voivodeship faced 70 questions related to consumer protection, based on 17 legal acts.
The event was held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and the Marshal of the Greater Poland Voivodeship. Winners received prizes sponsored by these authorities as well as the Greater Poland Provincial Inspector of Trade Inspection.
Individual winners included Zofia Ludwiczak from II LO im. Mikołaja Kopernika in Leszno, Kajetan Serek from V LO im. Klaudyny Potockiej in Poznań, Adam Chełminiak from I LO im. Karola Marcinkowskiego in Poznań, Zuzanna Mandzyn from the Vocational School in Gostyń, and Krystian Wawrzyniak from the Secondary School in Koźmin.
Special mentions were awarded to several other students from various schools in the region. In the team classification, the President of UOKiK's Cup was awarded to the City of Poznań, represented by Marek Janczyk, the Municipal Consumer Ombudsman.
