The Polish competition authority, UOKiK, is hosting the 4th edition of its Summer Camp, aimed at students studying law, economics, or related fields. This event will take place from September 14 to 18, 2026, in Warsaw and will feature workshops led by experts from UOKiK and special guests.

Participants will engage in practical simulations, learn about the role of market analysts, and explore concepts like 'mystery shopping' and 'white intelligence'. UOKiK President Tomasz Chróstny emphasizes the camp's focus on practical knowledge and modern perspectives on competition protection.

Students are encouraged to submit an essay titled 'Competition Law in Times of Geopolitical Uncertainty' and a short video introduction by June 15, 2026. The best submissions will earn a spot in the workshop and the opportunity for paid internships at UOKiK.

Additionally, UOKiK is reminding students about its competition for the best master's and doctoral theses, with a total prize pool of 84,000 PLN. This initiative not only promotes education but also fosters idea exchange and professional development among participants.
