The AdC is investigating a multinational technology consulting group for engaging in anticompetitive practices in the labor market, particularly through no-poach agreements with competing companies between 2014 and 2021. While three groups cooperated with the investigation and paid fines through settlement procedures, one multinational group faces a Statement of Objections for not opting for settlement. The accused companies have the opportunity to defend themselves before the AdC makes a final decision. This case marks the second instance of the AdC intervening in labor markets for anticompetitive practices, with no-poach agreements being deemed detrimental to competition and labor market dynamics, potentially impacting workers' bargaining power and salaries.
