The President of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) fined Janusz Palikot and Polskie Destylarnie for deceptive actions in the 'Skarbiec Palikota' loan campaign, including false information about the company's market position and misleading promises of investment returns.

The marketing campaign, mainly conducted on social media by Janusz Palikot, falsely portrayed the distillery as a leading producer and misled consumers about potential profits and crowdfunding aspects.

Polskie Destylarnie failed to inform consumers about the risks of investing, misused funds for purposes other than stated, and falsely advertised a contest with extravagant prizes that were never awarded.
